While reorganizing the basement, we bought some new shelving units. There are a couple of wooden shelves in the storage room that are fastened to the wall using angle brackets. One of them spanned nearly the width of the storage room and it needed to be shortened for the new shelving units to fit. So…..I got the Bosch jigsaw out, put in a blade….easy as pie to install and remove blades….and then cut off about 10″ of the offending shelf. What a great little saw! Very smooth and powerful cutting through a 1 1/2″ thick piece of wood. The cut was very smooth.
Now that I have finished reorganizing the basement, I have space to bring in my plywood and start laying everything out on the sheets before cutting it. Hopefully I will get that happening in the next few days.
